Now, I don't expect handwritten notes from all my customers, but I wanted to share how truly special it is to find people who love and connect to the art I have created.

I wanted to share these two new pieces with you. Both inspired by yoga, but they are part of a personal journey that has taken up the early part of this year.

Recently I reread this poem by May Oliver after having heard Tara Brach recite it on her wonderful podcast. I wanted to include it here to share with you.

Yoga, to me, is not just about movement and sweet poses, but about calmness and stillness – inner beauty as well as outer beauty. These pieces are about that.

Sometimes it is so easy to get wrapped up in the busyness of our lives, so I’m spending a little time reevaluating and simplifying what is important to me.

When I paint, I always like to work in a clear and uncluttered space. I like my head to be clear, so I feel the brush in my hand and let the magic happen.
