Hampshire Open Studios

I was absolutely delighted to be part of Hampshire Open Studio’s this year. I had never exhibited this way before and was unsure as to what to expect, but everyone was so enthusiastic to see my work – and I do think it helped hanging it in my home as people could see pieces on the wall and in a home setting.

As always, I had a lot of lovely support from friends and family, but I also made lots of new friends, and had some wonderful, encouraging and inspiring conversations.

My art was hung all over the house and I tried to theme it in collections – above you can see the Jugs and Flowers Prints and below I dedicated a whole wall to my Floral Watercolours which always look amazing and bring such a touch of summer into a room when hung in a cluster.

There were originals and greetings cards displays all the house. My family helped with lots of delicious cakes for those who wanted to sit in the garden and enjoy the rural view. And, of course, my Yorkshire Terrier Chewbacca had to get in on the act!
