STONEBECK RAW WENSLEYDALE CHEESE

HERITAGE BRAND STRATEGY, POSITIONING & IDENTITY DEVELOPMENT

Stonebeck is a small-batch raw milk Wensleydale cheese produced by Sally and Andrew Hattan in Nidderdale, Yorkshire. Focused on preserving traditional heritage cheese-making methods, the business combines artisan production with a strong sense of provenance, landscape and farming heritage.

Jennifer worked closely with the founders during the early stages of the business to develop the brand positioning, visual identity and commercial storytelling framework that would support future growth and market recognition.

The project involved translating the values behind the farm, the product and the traditional cheese-making process into a coherent premium brand capable of engaging artisan retailers, food specialists and high-end hospitality environments.

The resulting identity positioned Stonebeck as an authentic, heritage-led Wensleydale cheese rooted in craftsmanship, provenance and the natural ecosystem surrounding the farm.

Stonebeck has since gone on to secure recognition and distribution through respected specialist retailers including Neal’s Yard Dairy alongside independent food retailers, restaurants and artisan food markets.

“JENNIFER PATIENTLY TOOK US THROUGH THE WHOLE JOURNEY AND GOT TO KNOW US AND OUR PRODUCT. I CANNOT RECOMMEND JENNIFER HIGHLY ENOUGH – THE FINISHED BRAND HAS PROVED EXCELLENT VALUE FOR MONEY. WE HAVE HAD SO MANY COMPLIMENTS.”
